Teflubenzuron
Teflubenzuron is a benzoylurea insecticide, which act by inhibition of chitin synthesis and moulting of insects, hereby disrupting chitin deposition in the insect cuticle after ingestion.
Target pests: Lepidoptera and Coleoptera
Note: It should be applied in egg stage and young larval stage, but it is ineffective for piercing-sucking pests such as leafhoppers, planthoppers and aphids.
